Hi, I’m Dr. Paymon A. Dorri, DDS, and it is with deep gratitude and respect that I have assumed ownership of Dorri Dental here in Battle Creek, Michigan. Taking the reins from Dr. Robin P. Steely, DDS, who served this community with compassion and excellence for over 42 years, has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’m humbled to continue the legacy he built and to walk alongside you in your journey toward health and wellness.
Since moving to Battle Creek, my wife Shiva and I, along with our three wonderful daughters, have been overwhelmed by the warmth and kindness we’ve received. The people of this town have made us feel right at home, and we are so thankful to be raising our family in a community full of generosity, heart, and hospitality.
Dentistry, to me, has always been about more than treating teeth. It’s a calling rooted in service, trust, and compassion. My passion lies in caring for the whole person through biologically responsible dentistry, connecting oral health to overall wellness, and empowering patients to thrive.
I believe that every patient has a story worth hearing and a smile worth protecting. That’s why I’ve embraced the philosophy of Oral Fitness for Life™, which focuses on prevention, education, and partnership. Together, through co-discovery, co-design, and co-creation, we can achieve long-term oral and systemic health in a way that feels empowering and personalized.
I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2015, and I’ve continued to pursue advanced training in biologic and holistic dentistry, TMJ therapy, orthodontics, esthetics, and implant dentistry. I’m honored to be a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, and the Francis B. Vedder Society for the Advancement of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics.
